Welcome back to the Otts family where last time we had a new member arrive. Baby Ariana is here and we get to see how the NTH Julia handles being a mom.
She instantly shows us she is going to try. When the baby starts crying she goes over to pick her up.
She then changes Ariana’s diaper (which didn’t need changing) and then feeds her. Good job Julia!
With the money that Eddie has been making we buy all the toddler things we will need and a few other items, like a computer, so Eddie doesn’t have to spend as much time at the library.
Eddie, and I, have discovered the joy of having headphones to use while painting. It keeps fun up and is just great for getting through a lot of work.
Julia is back at it again with Ariana. Everytime the baby cries she just bounces right on over. (She has kind of one of the bouncy walks, it’s adorable on her.)
Then she freaks me out by going into the kitchen and pulling out ingredients, but decides to make a nice, safe, salad. I LOVE YOU JULIA!
Julia really is a very good ISBI spouse, if you are interested in starting one, she isn’t a bad prospect. Anyway, she loves to just chat with Eddie, no matter what he is doing.
While Julia is at class it’s time to see how Eddie does as a father. Luckily he is controllable, but he follows a similar process to Julia. Pick up the baby, change the baby’s diaper, feed the baby. Ariana is a lucky baby.
It’s also time for her to turn into a toddler. What a cutie!
Oh Julia, what happened???!!!
She came home from work, stood around in the rain for forever, walked into Ariana’s room and passed out. -5 points
Ariana is adorable, and with having most of the things she needs to earn skills, I hopeful she will gain us at least a few points. She starts by babbling to the bear.
I love this little face! She certainly has Julia’s coloring.
Then she plays with the tablet, which she probably shouldn’t be, I should get one for her, but oh well.
Mom and daughter bonding….so cute! Apparently there is some bug that keeps putting Julia back into the hospital gown.
Julia once again shows she is a rockstar. Yes, we had that one pass out, but I’m going to blame whatever code left her standing in the rain for hours.
Eddie gets the next toddler task and gets to bathe little Ariana. There is, currently, a bug that keeps these combo tub/showers from providing hygiene when showering, so that has been fun to work around.
NO!!!! Ariana!!! WHY???!!!! You were right next to the bed!
So that is another -5 points. I guess we better get started on some more positive points.
Eddie, being at home most of the time helps Ariana with her movement skill.
Then they also work on the potty skill. I believe there was a decision made to not count them using their diapers as a wet themselves, unless you possibly catch it after they are potty trained, so I’m not going to worry too much about it.
Mama Julia then gets to do the fun stuff, and play with dolls.
Both Julia and Eddie are very invested in Ariana, and they both come to help her with her block leaning as well.
This feels like a good place to stop currently. Little Ariana is actually doing really well with her skills, she should get Happy Toddler at least without any sort of issue, so that’s exciting to me.

At least we are still in the positive points. I should note, Julia “finished” her semester at school and failed 2 classes and got a D in the other. This makes sense to me as she had a presentation board in her inventory that told me she probably needed to do that for a class. I’m not taking any points for the moment since DU is new and there hasn’t been any discussion on how points should work for it. She just got a job instead.
