Welcome back to the Otts family and the inanity that ensues here. Last time we visited the family announced a 4th child was on the way…I just couldn’t help myself, and Cordelia grew up into a child. Adalyn was also one of the best spouses and parents ever. Let’s just jump right in.
I didn’t get a chance to do it last time, so here’s a quick look at Cordelia after her make-over. She is a very pretty girl, or at least I think so, and I am excited to see how she does.
Our mom to be is working on cleaning up some of the messes around the house. These kids and their “art,” I swear.
How you feeling Adayln?
Adalyn: Tired of cleaning up after the kids, tired of being pregnant, you know, just tired.
I can understand that. These kids certainly take after their mom, Bailie was a mess maker too. We called it Bailie art.
Adalyn: I should have known.
Downstairs Cordelia does try and help out with cleaning up some messes herself. Do not let this picture fool you, she is just as responsible for most of these as her brothers.
After school Corey goes and takes a nap. His sleep schedule has gotten all off. He sleeps right after school most of the time and then is awake super early in the morning and comes home exhausted.
Cedric has fell completely in love with this toy. He plays with it every chance he gets, so we’ll see if that helps his character traits at all. Bailie is off at work so she will not been seen quite yet.
The four who are home gather in the dining room to eat and chat. The kids are all pretty close, and Adalyn, being the kick-ass mom she is, is also pretty close to her 3 kids. Maybe this is actually a family meeting about the new baby.
He may not be official Otts, but Ariana’s husband has passed away. He lasted well beyond any of the others so he must have been very young when he married Ariana.
Cedric is up before the sun the next day to grab some food, and grandpa Alan is out haunting and cleaning for us. The kids seem to mostly ignore the ghosts in this particular house.
To see if we can help the Rambuncious Scamp kids with their milestones we head to the park for the day. Bailie runs into Brodie and they do a special little “handshake” in greeting.
It takes a good portion of the day to get the kids to play and to play long enough to get playful but finally both Corey and Cordelia complete the first milestone of Rambunctious Scamp. +10 points
Of course, the super sad side effect of all of these was Adalyn got too tired, and refused to go take a nap on any of the benches, the chairs, nothing, so she passed out 3 times. -15 points. So really the trip to the playground netted us -5 points.
Whatcha doing Baillie?
Bailie: Going for a jog. Why did I want to be a bodybuilder?
*Shurg* I have no idea. You are lazy, but that was the roll of the randomizer. Are you carrying food with you?
Bailie: Yeah, just a snack for if I get hungry while I’m out.
Corey gets into cleaning up messes now, which seems to be the new “thing to do” for the kids. I’m not going to complain. We have messes EVERYWHERE in this house.
Like this prime example. Do not let this picture fool you, let me tell you a story. Cordelia came up to this spot where there was no paint, not flour or chocolate. It was a clean floor. She mopped it. Then she proceeded to make this mess before mopping it again. Did it need to be extra clean before it was made a mess? Only Cordelia knows.
In other good news however, Bailie is getting more promotions in the writing career. She has written a fair number of books and is almost to level 9 in writing I believe.
A new little cousin is on the way from Adalyn’s side of the family. I had really wanted to invite Rosalie over but Bailie hasn’t ever met her and so she can’t invite her, and I have plans for Adalyn’s one adult action.
Cedric works on his second milestone. He needs to do homework twice while focused. With the focus lights in the bedroom he gets focused easily while working on homework. So hopefully he will be able to reach this milestone.
Oh boy, this face means we are ready to have the next baby. I messed this up by trying to send Adalyn to go to the hospital by herself. She went to the curb, tried to leave, then peed herself. So I got Bailie up to go with her. -5 points
We are back to Ectoplasm Medical Center where Bailie goes into the normal prenatal panic. There is no front desk staff yet so Adalyn just heads straight back.
Bailie: Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, there is another baby on the way. I’m not ready, I’m not ready.
Bailie, honey, calm down. You have 3 kids back at home, you know how to do this.
Bailie: Right, ok, yeah, but what if…..
Bailie, stop. It will be ok.
We have another boy. Meet Calvin Otts. This family seems pretty predisposed to have boys, regardless of how many they have. Each generation has only seen a single girl. I don’t expect these two to have any additional children so this will be our final baby.
That feels like the right place to warp up this update, even though it’s slightly shorter than normal for us, but next time we can see Calvin grow up and the twins will be teens again soon as well.

Well we almost broke even, and I can’t even really be mad at the failures we had this time. Most of them were completely my fault. This generation is going much smoother than the last time, and I’m liking this house quite a bit. So we’ll see how they do next update.
