Latte Game – Generation 4.02

Generation 4.01 | Rules | Family Tree | Generation 4.03

Welcome back to the Latte’s again! Last time the family had a fun trip to Mt. Komorebi and we learned that Hjordis is our new heir for the next generation. I had hoped for Hjordis to find someone she liked, maybe while on vacation, but not yet.

We are going to start off this update with us heading over to Ember’s house to flag Mikel. No kids and no marriage for you. Sorry Mikel.

Mikel: Ugh, why not?

Because we are not overloading this world with Latte’s! You guys have a big family!

So Hjordis is going to go to university. I haven’t sent a Latte to university yet, and I want Hjordis to meet some new people. Hopefully we can find some new, non-Sulani sims to bring into the family.

In all the time I have spent with these guys living on Sulani, I have never focused on cleaning up the island. So while Halix was out swimming around I had her cleaning up the trash.

That evening it was Easton’s birthday. So we invited everyone we could over to celebrate his elder birthday. He is certainly ahead of Halix, due to her pregnancies, but he also has long life thanks to the bodybuilder aspiration, so he’ll be with us for a long time still.

Zophi comes to visit her grandkids, and Amarja is happy to see her. The three girls had her here for most of their growing up years so they are still very close to their grandma, although grandpa Harvey was gone a lot earlier.

Isabelle is now a child, and she is Pixey’s daughter. As is normal I will post some updated pictures of the kids and family members outside of this house at the end of the update.

Uku comes out for the first time in a little while and greets his daughter. Zophi was our first heiress and Uku, with Kynzie, really did get the family started off right for this challenge. I’m so happy to have these ghosts still around and enjoy seeing so much of the family stay close after they are gone.

Halix then sits down to finish up her requirements for work and has officially maxed out the piano skill. She is very happy to have it maxed out and now she just needs to mentor her kids in music for a while to finish up her aspiration.

There seems to always be something going on with this family, and I am going to have to figure out something to do with them when this challenge is all over, because I just love them. Anyway, we see Ijtiba has completed his aspiration and now has Whiz Kid. Hjordis has signed up for university and is going to be taking two classes this session.

Then it’s time yet again for another birthday, this time Amarja is growing up to a young adult. We invite a lot of the extended family over, and Amarja blows out her candles and prepares to move out of the family home. We will see the updates from her in later updates.

Hjordis heads to the university and start meeting people and making friends. She is more interested in girls and guys, but could enjoy the company of either. She meets a lot of people but no one that really strikes her interest yet.

Hjordis strikes me as the type of girl that would have enjoyed soccer (or football for those of you not in the US) and so she decides to join the team at school. She’s always been fairly active, and her first aspiration was rambunctious scamp.

As a part of the team now, she decided to go join in with the pep rally that was going on and practice her ball skills. Hopefully she’ll meet some other members of the team and maybe one of them will catch her interest.

Once the pep rally was over she headed back to the commons to work on the homework she got for the day before heading home. It’s nice that she can live at home because I didn’t want to leave them to solely focus on her.

Back at home Amarja is already back for a visit. I think she missed her younger brothers already. She comes by and helps them some with their badges for the scouts. After they did some work the boys and Amarja hang out with Lowitja and watch some TV.

Right around that time I realized that I could get Lowitja into magic like she wants, and we took the boys with us, not realizing that Ijtiba was actually on the cusp of growing up. This is what happens when you don’t play for quite a while and then come back.

Here is Ijtiba after a bit of a make-over in his teen years. He looks even more like his dad now that he is a teen I think. He is now a Glutton and a Cat Lover, and he is ultimately going to try and become a musician.

Once everyone is back home Hjordis works on her homework and her sister Lowitja, who is back from scouts, has some dinner. I know we haven’t seen much from the Halix or Easton in this update, but that is going to be where we end this update. There is always so much going on and it can be hard to keep up with everyone in this family.

And as a final little update, and I am so glad that hair on Isabelle has been “fixed” now. I’ll have to get a new picture for her, but anyway. Here are the 2 extended family members that have changed/grown-up this update. First is Arthur, the youngest son of Zax and his wife. The Isabelle, who, as we mentioned earlier, is Pixey’s youngest daughter, at least at the moment. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the update. I’m trying to get back into some more consistent playing/updating.

I have been playing sims since TS1 and even played a little bit of the PS2 version and the mobile versions over time. Once I discovered challenges for TS2 I never looked back. I love the sims, the families I've been able to make, and play through the years and connecting with people about them. I work from home doing Salesforce Data Validation for my company, have 2 cats I adore and have a million hobbies I feel like I will never have time to completely explore.
