Hello and welcome back to the EPIC Tripp!!! The last time we were with the family, we celebrated Winterfest Eve, and Corie got engaged to Molly. That was about the most interesting thing that happened, so let’s dig back in!

When we first find ourselves back with the family, Corie is up and paying attention to Remington. I want to get him added to the household soon!

Later in the morning, although it’s very early and still pretty dark outside, probably what would be called false dawn, Rene is out feeding Ferdinand, the cowplant.

Thanks to all the new packs we have gotten since I last played with this family, both Bonnie and Rene end up getting some mastery perks. Bonnie gets Aspirational Thinker, and Rene gets Skillful Sleep!

With the new family tree update, I decided to just glance at the Tripp’s tree and was surprised to find Zygo was a child of the skeleton! Also, Rene has another child?!

Bonnie is determined to stay as much in shape as she can in her elder years. I am forever shooing her off the treadmill and other workout equipment.
Bonnie: I want to stay in shape. I am in good shape and can handle it!
But you keep getting dangerously tired. I want you to meet at least one of your grandbabies!
Bonnie: Pish posh, I’ll still visit even if it’s as a ghost, you know this.

It is officially Winterfest, and the extended family is invited over. Corie talks with Ruth about the wedding. I think she was attempting to invite her to be her sim of honor, but then I ended up not doing a traditional wedding!

Molly is, of course, invited over as well and is given a death flower. I cannot remember if she liked it or not, but I think it’s a sweet gift.

With everyone at the house and ready to celebrate, they all gather around the tree and start to open up the gifts. I don’t think anyone got anything “bad” this year, which was great.

Corie pulls out a sprig of mistletoe to entice Molly to give her a Winterfest kiss. It works, of course, since these two are quite cute.

Bonnie and her son Bill share a good laugh. At that, they decided they are jokesters, and I went ahead and said yes. This is a lot less frequent than it used to be.

With Winterfest winding down and the family leaving to head back to their own homes, Corie sits down to watch some videos and do some work for the day. Holidays can be big for social media influencers.

Bonnie and Rene play some chess together. They had a bit of a rough holiday towards the end, with Bonnie taking some stress out on him. Rene decides to head out for a bit.

We have a few new fish we need to catch, what with the new packs. Why do they keep adding fish??!!! Anyway, down to the Gibbi Point pier (I think), and Rene spends some time fishing and relaxing.

By the time he gets home, he, as well as Bonnie, feel more like themselves and reconcile with each other before bed. That night, Rene takes advantage of his new astral projection abilities and plays some chess and learns some flower arranging.
The next day is a very special event, as Molly and Corie get married. They set up some chairs on the beach, and Corie and Molly wore comfortable summer dresses for the event. Everyone celebrated with them as they kissed under the arch.

Everyone heads inside for a home reception, and Corie and Molly continue to barely be able to keep their hands off each other. The sweet dance they share in the small reading nook is pretty heartwarming.

The reception continues with everyone hugging and congratulating the happy couple. They eat some food, and Bonnie whips up a nice cake. You can see even Bradly, Ruth’s son, made it!

After the cake is done, Corie and Molly cut the first piece, and Corie gently feeds a piece to Molly. It’s a lovely rest of the reception.

As the celebration winds down, Corie pours herself a glass of nectar. It’s been a busy and long day, but a very happy one with Molly moving in.

The two lovebirds sneak outside to the telescope once they are pretty sure most everyone is busy with other things, and have a bit of fun. It’s their wedding night, of course, and they aren’t going to take a honeymoon yet.

Bonnie does end up coming out and trying to tend the bees. They were very angry, so she put on a beekeeper’s outfit to try to protect herself a bit. After that, she heads over to the pool to reflect on life.

With Corie being so close to adulthood, I decided to check right away if their telescope woohoo had any “consequences,” and sure enough, Corie is pregnant!

She heads out to tell Molly, who was surprised but very happy. I’m so excited to have the start of generation 8 on the way. Hopefully, we can get through the rest of Corie’s job without too many issues.

Here is a look at Molly after her makeover. She is going to join the culinary career as a mixologist and get the matching aspiration. She is a music and outdoor lover, and a genius.

Rene would really like to catch some of the new fish, so he heads back out to try. While he isn’t successful in catching any new fish, he does get to enjoy a jellyfish swim.

Back at home, we get the notice that Bonnie’s life is almost at an end. No, no, no, I want her to meet her grandbabies, but I don’t want her to revert to the start of her elder years. I really wish there were an easier way to just add on a few days of life.

I have Bonnie go out to the wishing well, which has a chance to add only a few days of life. She makes an offering first to get it in a good mood, and makes her wish, but nothing seems to happen.

Meanwhile, inside, while practicing making some drinks, Molly has decided she likes Mixology. That’s good, you will be doing a lot of it!

Bonnie is busy doing some work on the computer. She has had a pretty easy pregnancy so far, not too much sickness or drain other than on energy.

It’s New Year’s Eve, and Molly is having fun celebrating. Corie went to take a nap, so Molly snags the computer for a bit, as does Rene. Bonnie is just hanging out with them both.

Later, it’s storming pretty good outside, so Molly spends some time mixing up drinks. There aren’t going to be any visitors coming by for New Year’s this year.

Corie wakes up from her nap, and the family hangs out in the living room. chatting about their resolutions. Almost everyone wants to learn some new skills. I believe Corie wants a promotion.

As it gets close to midnight, everyone starts the countdown together! Sh-shubie! Sh-shubie!
Happy New Year’s, Tripp family!
All the members: Happy New Year’s!

Of course, Molly goes and gives Corie a big kiss, and while the couple on the TV is kissing, Bonnie gives Rene a big ol’ smooch as well. It was quite a lovely celebration, even if it was storming outside.
That is where we are going to wrap up this update, I think. Next time, we will see the newest member of the family and officially welcome generation 8 to the world. It’s so crazy we are through almost 7 generations!! Thank you, as always, for reading, and I hope you will come back soon for the next update!
