Hello and welcome back to the Otts family! It’s been a while! The last time we were with the Otts family, Dwight aged up from an infant to a toddler after achieving multiple milestones. Dustin worked on his homework and got a B in school, and Calvin worked on his career a bit. Let’s dig in and see how this update goes!

We start the update with everyone in bed and Julia out haunting and throwing away a bunch of trash. Julia, you don’t need to look so sad! Thanks for cleaning up the trash, though.

The family updates come in for the evening, and Cordelia’s family is moving into a new neighborhood. Then Darin, Cedric’s youngest son, and Cordelia’s son, Dalton, are both toddlers.

Calvin and Dwight get a Strict dynamic. It makes a lot of sense with how much Calvin has been working with Dwight that they will get this dynamic.

Calvin puts his son to bed, and we discover the first of Dwight’s toddler quirks. He hates bedtime, which I suppose actually makes sense since he loved wakeup time as an infant.

Another quirk is revealed when Dwight heads out to destroy a school project. He is also a very destructive little toddler. Dwight is going to be a handful for sure.

Calvin gets started with potty training Dwight. Hopefully, this will go quickly so we can get him trained up.

Then, ever a good father, he also starts helping Dustin with his homework. All three of our boys all in one room. I love this generation already.

Clavin discovers, while talking to his wife, that he likes Deep Thoughts. Sure, Calvin, you are welcome to like Deep Thoughts.

It’s Spring Fun Day, or whatever I call this holiday, and Hinata and Dustin are out chatting and searching for eggs. I should really put a little fence around their backyard sometime, maybe.

Dustin and Dwight are really cute kids. I will have Hinata and Calvin have at least one more baby. I’m secretly hoping we get a girl, but I won’t influence it. If they end up with three boys, it will still be a lot of fun.

Calvin is hard at work on his portrait. I really wish it were easier to do a self-portrait, or like, paint from a reference photo or something. Regardless, while Calvin paints, Dustin is there to distract him.

Hinata is really quite a good NTH mother. When Dwight asks for food, she gets him in the high chair and makes sure he has something to eat.

Dustin does his homework. Thank you, Dustin. While his dad teaches Dwight to use the potty. I’m determined to at least get him some skills, maybe reach Happy Toddler level.

Hinata then takes over again and tucks the boy into bed. He is soon fast asleep. I adore you, Hinata! Thank you for being such a good NTH spouse!

Time to have a little fun, and also to convince Hinata to sleep. We’ll see if this results in a final baby or not (or likely final, anyway. We do have risky woohoo). I’m just glad Hinata is sleeping; she was getting super tired.

Dustin has his sleep schedule all thrown off. He goes to bed around 7 and then is up about 5 in the morning. That lets him meet his grandma, Adalyn, though. I do miss you, Adalyn, but I’m still a tiny bit mad at you.

Poor Hinata, I think she may actually be pregnant, but I’m not going to find out with a test. We will let the game tell us eventually.

Too bad Dustin’s aspiration isn’t Rambuncious Scamp. He may have actually gotten a little way through it. I clearly forgot to take the decorations down.

Calvin comes home with a new promotion! He is now officially on his way to being a Politician. I may or may not leave him in this career; we’ll see.

Hinata scares me a bit by deciding to cook some food on the stove. Luckily, she did not burn anything, and Calvin was right there fixing the stereo if she needed help. While she didn’t start a fire, which is good, she did break the sink.

These two are super cute, and I was having fun playing around with the different kisses that came with Lovestruck. They ended up with a Wholesome dynamic, which really suits them, so of course, I say yes.

One nice thing about the Politician career is that Calvin can usually work from home and can spend a lot of time with his boys. That makes raising the kids easier.

Auntie Cordelia came by, and Dwigth was quick to greet her with a hug. He is a clingy toddler, so I guess he was happy to cling to his aunt.

While Dwight plays with the dollhouse, Dustin goes in and plays around with his brother. Apparently, this unlocks the Jokesters dynamic, which makes a lot of sense for brothers, so I say yes.

Poor Dwight had so much excitement that he needed a nap. No one was around to put him in bed, so he decided to nap on the pouff. That is totally fine, it’s a nap, not a passout!

I noticed that Calvin and Hinata’s bed was not upgraded, and since Calvin needs to get some skills up to level 8, I figured, why not let him work Handiness to get up to that level? This should help with the ISBI, hopefully.

Dwight, I believe, asked his mom to read him a book, so they climbed all the way upstairs to do it. I don’t know why they don’t use the pouffs by the bookcase, but whatever.

The family has some dinner that Calvin cooked up, and it looks like Bailey is out haunting us tonight! Hi, Bailie!!! I also miss you a great deal!

Then tragedy struck. Poor Dwight, I was attempting to get him to bed, but he was also super hungry, so Hinata and Calvin “fought” over what to do with him, which led to him passing out not once, not twice, but three times before we got him into bed. -15 points!

However, in taking a quick stock of where we were on Hinata’s aspiration, I see she is actually on the final milestone of Mansion Baron, so that is 2 more milestones that I didn’t catch before. That’s +10 points! Bless you, Hinata!

Then Hinata gets the confirmation we have suspected for a little while, she is indeed pregnant with their third child! Congrats!!! (Although I realize after writing this, I think this might have been for her resolution, but she is pregnant.)

Hinata: I don’t know that I’m ready to go through this again.

At least you aren’t going to be going to school on top of everything! Plus, you are a great mom!

Hinata: That’s true, this is the last one, right? I love my boys, but I don’t love being pregnant.

Well, as far as I’m concerned, this can be your final baby.

That feels like a great place to end this update! Next time, we will see the birth of the next, and likely final, baby of the generation. It was so much fun to be back with these guys, and I HOPE to start posting a bit more consistently again. We didn’t do too badly, just a small point loss this time, thanks to Hinata’s aspiration milestone! Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you here for the next update!

Hello, we are back with the Otts family today. Last time Dwight grew up into an infant, we sadly lost Bailie, and Hinata and Calvin worked to spend time with Dustin. Dwight being our first infant in this family means I am learning a lot about how these guys will work in an ISBI, so let’s dig in!

We start with Calvin playing with Dwight on the playmat they have in his infant room right now. We are going to try and reach as many milestones as we can with him.

Almost immediately upon unpausing we unlock 3 milestones right away, coo, reach, and roll over. Calvin had been doing tummy time with him quite a bit last update.

Then we get a few family updates. Cordelia got remarried, you may remember her husband passed away last update. Briella, one of Alvin’s daughters with his vampire wife, has now gotten married as well, which means I need to check all my flags. We don’t need more vampire Otts running around.

Calvin has to go do some protesting for work, so he heads out to the city to do that. I can’t remember if we brought everyone with us or just left them at home.

Once back at home Dwight needed a bath, so Calvin gives him his first bath, which also happened to unlock the first bubble bath as well. Infants really are quite cute!

Dustin is a really good little boy and comes home and does his homework. Thank you Dustin, keep it up kiddo!

Dwight is a rather happy little wiggly infant. All alone in his room he unlocks the laugh milestone.

Shortly after he laughed Dwight also unlocked his ability to grab. I’m hoping to try out some foods with him before he grows up, so hopefully we’ll get the ability to sit up before too long.

Eddie is out haunting us tonight. It’s nice to still occasionally see our founder even 3 generations in. I hope he will continue to stick around for generations to come!

Hinata is a really good mom. She picks up her little boy and rocks him in the rocking chair. I love the look she is giving her son here.

There are a couple new family updates. Three of the cousins have grown up. Darnel and Destiny, Corey’s twins are now children, and his youngest son Derrik is now an infant.

Calvin wants to visit his brothers and their families to make sure he knows all the kids and can invite them all over whenever we have a party. His first visit is to Cedric’s house and he gets to give his niece Danielle a hug, and then he gets to meet Darin. Once done at Cedric’s he heads to his sister’s place to meet her son Dalton.

Once Calvin is back home, Cordelia calls him up to ask about having a baby. Of course, we say to have a new baby!!! Bring us even more cousins for this generation!!!

Calvin does some tummy time with little Dwight and we unlock the Roll Over and Babble milestones and then start working on sitting as well. Calvin is working hard on helping Dwight.

Hinata and Calvin spend some time together enjoying each other’s company again. They have been kept pretty busy with their two boys, and I do want at least one more kid, although I would like to wait until Dwight is no longer an infant. We do have risky though, so we’ll see.

Bailie is out haunting tonight. She takes time out at the bar while almost everyone is asleep.

Dwight spends some time on his playmat and manages to learn how to sit up and also creep. He looks very unhappy about being on the playmat at this point, but he’s really just hungry.

Calvin takes Dwight and we get to give him baby food for the first time. He started with Sweet Potato and Dwight loved it. He was so happy.

Calvin is out protesting again, and for some reason, he left Dwight on the ground. I am pretty sure Cordelia went and picked him up right after this.

Calvin’s birthday is here and we invite over all the family we can. Then Calvin blows out his candles. All the kids sit around and talk to each other, I think this generation is going to be fairly close.

Calvin is back to having Dwight try new foods. He decided he did not like Rice Porridge but he did like Pumpkin.

Dwight is such a cutie, and while he has a crib he was left on his playmat multiple times, but that does appear to let him unlock multiple milestones.

There are a lot of Otts moving around. I’m not sure who all moved, but one group moved into Tomarang, another moved out of Evergreen Harbor, and a final branch moved out of StrangerVille.

Calvin decides he likes painting while working on a kind of silly painting. He is almost to the level where he can do his self-portrait. Hopefully, we can get a fun portrait done soon.

Dustin hasn’t been around much this update, but he comes home with a B grade in school.

I believe it was the season premier night so the family sits down to watch the TV together with some food. Hinata looks like she is having dessert while Calvin has some dinner.

Hinata goes and starts her own workout. Later, Calvin passes out, -5 points, while trying to feed Dwight. Dwight gets stuck in his high chair for a bit while his dad recovers.

Eddie and Audra are out haunting and our little Dustin is up and socializing with them. He has not been doing much sleeping, but at least he’s getting to know his ancestors who are visiting.

Dustin decides to head out to work on one of the projects in the sideyard. We have set up quite a few of them, and some have been destroyed, while others are partially done. After working on the project Dustin then heads to the patio and works on his homework while Calvin eats some food.

Hinata and Calvin really are in love with each other, they are very sweet and spend time flirting together. I figure soon it will be time for them to have another kid. So far risky hasn’t hit them yet.

Dustin and Calvin spend some time together where Calvin helps him with his homework. Then Dustin decided to play with the dollhouse. Dustin is a good kid.

Hinata is a really good mom and I’m less concerned about infants now that we have been able to get through Dwight’s infant stage. He did have a blowout though, so Hinata gives him another bath.

It’s also Dwight’s birthday and he is an adorable little toddler. I feel like he reminds me a lot of Hinata but with Calvin’s coloring. He grows up into a clingy toddler, so that could be interesting. However, we will have to see how Dwight’s toddler years next update. I hope to see you then!

Welcome back to the Otts! It has been FAR too long since we were with the family and I’m excited to be back. The last time we were with the family Hinata sadly got suspended from school after getting pregnant again and not being able to balance it all. The family celebrated Winterfest, Calvin got a promotion, we had a baby shower, and Dwight was born, and we end with Dustin’s childhood birthday.

We will start this update with Bailie and our founding spouse Julia sharing a hug. Julia has been out haunting quite a bit recently. We can also see little Dustin in the back. Dustin grew up with the Lazy trait and got the Artistic Prodigy aspiration, so he’s not likely to get much done.

Family updates come in and Danielle, Cedric’s daughter, is now a child and then part of the Otts family moved out of Forgotten Hollow. Not entirely sure where they moved to.

Calvin is up and working on fixing all the various things that have broken, including the tea maker. With as many ghosts as we are getting it feels more and more like we are forever fixing plumbing and electronics.

Bailie got us some points by maxing out dancing! Way to go Bailie! +10 points!

Once everyone is up and around for the day, I believe it’s New Year’s, Dustin works on his homework. Bailie is just enjoying her time being a NTH, and even Cordelia stopped by for some family time.

Hinata continues to be a great parent and goes to take care of Dwight, leveling up to parenting 5 while doing so. Dwight will be our first infant in this family and I’m looking forward to seeing how we do with infants in an ISBI.

The family gathers around the TV to celebrate ringing in the New Year together. HAPPY NEW YEAR OTTS!!! It wasn’t that long ago that new years was here in RL!

A new year brings a new life stage to the Otts and Dwight grows into an infant. He’s a cutie already and I don’t know how much of a makeover I’m going to worry about giving infants.

Almost immediately after growing up Dwight already unlocked a milestone for smiling. Smile now kid, I have no idea how you are going to grow up being born into an ISBI. We’ll see!

While little Dwight was growing up into an infant upstairs we have one of our reader’s favorite Otts ghosts haunting, Alan! Hi Alan, please don’t break all our stuff!!! Bailie appears to be eating up some popcorn while Dustin looks a bit sad.

Hinata and Calvin stand around upstairs with the newly grown-up Dwight unable to get by the baby, apparently. Calvin picks him up, moves him out into the hallway, and has some tummy time with him.

Our little Dwight turns out to be a Wiggly infant, which should be kind of fun. Hopefully, he’ll learn some of the milestones quickly, but we might have to struggle with getting him to sleep. Guess we’ll see how it goes.

Sadly, we will have to wait to find out more about Dwight, as downstairs Bailie is ready for her long life to be over. Alan and Audra are both in attendance, and poor Dustin also sees it happening. Grim finishes his tasks and then decides to hang around for a bit in the bathroom. You will be missed Bailie, but you can be with Adalyn now.

I took some time to edit and update the downstairs room to be a nursery for little Dwight. While Calvin starts working on getting him down to bed for the night we find out that Dwight is an early riser who loves wake-up time, which I guess makes sense. He’s too wiggly to want to sleep for a long time.

While everyone is sleeping for the night we get a bunch of family updates. Janessa and Corey have their new baby, a little boy named Derrik. Then there are multiple birthdays. Dalton, son of Cordelia, Darin, son of Cedric, and Brynlee, Brodie’s stepdaughter.

Dustin has had a bit of a rough time after his grandma’s death. He doesn’t sleep very well and rarely does more than nap. He also hasn’t been able to take great care of his needs, although he has managed to not lose us any points…yet.

Calvin stays home and works from home so we can try and be here for Dwight as much as possible and get him through some milestones. Dwight does quickly learn to lift his head!

Calvin’s work-from-home task was to go protest, so while Dustin is at school we send the others out to protest. Calvin feeds little Dwight before letting Hinata hold him while he works the protest to an essentially empty park.

Once back at home, Hianta proves to be a great mom once again by spending time with both of her sons before they head to bed that night. Hinata might help Dustin get through missing his grandma Bailie.

Sadly, we get the notice that Tai Lum, Cordelia’s husband, passed away. They have an infant son, and I’m sure she’ll likely end up remarried.

Calvin has been spending a fair amount of time with Dwight since he’s still a baby, but that doesn’t mean he won’t go spend time with his other son. Especially since he’s been having a hard time with the death of Bailie.

Maybe at his mom’s suggestion, maybe it was his dad’s, but that night I find Dustin upstairs giving himself a pep talk, which was so cute. Hopefully, this will help him when we come back to the family, as this feels like a decent time to wrap up this update. Next time we should be able to get through Dwight’s birthday to toddlerhood, let’s hope we survive the rest of infanthood. Hope to see you next time!

Hello and welcome back to the crazy…I mean the ISBI. I’m so excited to be bringing you a new update to the Otts family. Last update Dustin grew up into a toddler and the family was busy taking care of him. Let’s dig in to this new update!

When we start the update we get family updates. Cordelia has gotten married, and nearly immediately gets pregnant as well. Then we get the notice that Kaleigh and Cedric are also expecting again. Yay for more Otts!

Cedric is over and perhaps he is letting him mom know she’s going to be a grandma again. I really love this generation of this family, they have been so much fun.

Eddie is out tonight and starts the night by destroying the dollhouse, then he is helpful and mops up Dustin’s mess. Thanks for the help Eddie, but I don’t suppose you could have not destroyed the dollhouse?

Hinata is sick and we start to wonder if she is pregnant again. Then she proves to be a really good mom, comforting little Dustin and then reading him to sleep. She is, sadly falling behind in school and I think she might not finish it now.

Calvin comes home with a promotion, way to go Calvin. Then we find out Corey’s twins are now toddlers. This portion was played before the infant update, so they went straight to toddlers. They are cuties.

Calvin gets busy potty training Dustin. He at least needs to get him to level 2 so Dustin can work on it more himself.

Hinata celebrates finding out she is, indeed, pregnant. She is going to fail out of college for sure now. She might surprise me, but pregnancy has been not great for Hianta and school. Hinata goes and tells Calvin, who is also happy about the news.

I love you Hinata, you are one of my favorite NTH’s. Your predecessor was also amazing, but I’m still mad at Adalyn for dying in the pool early. Please keep being amazing!

Julia, while I appreciate very much the fact you are mopping up a puddle, you BROKE the sink. The puddle will never go away unless you fix the sink.

It’s Winterfest Eve and the family works on decorating the tree together. One of these days I might actually consider decorating the inside for Winterfest (or maybe even most of the winter.) I love decorating for Christmas in real life.

*sigh* Sadly the excitement of Winterfest was too much for Dustin. He passes out on the floor. -5 points.

Brooke’s “whoops” twins (whoops in the fact I forgot to flag her before) have grown into children. We will get a better look at them later. I love all the Otts we have in the family now.

Before bed, Calvin gives Dustin a bubble bath. Once that is done and he’s put to bed Hinata sits with Dustin to work on her schoolwork. I hope she manages to get through these last classes.

Bailie, I know you had the bodybuilder aspiration and worked really hard to get fit, but could you please take it easy on using the weight machine? I really don’t want you to die from exertion.

A bunch of fun new updates for the family. Bailie is squeamish now, which is sort of funny. Calvin and Dustin get a strict family dynamic, which makes a little sense, Calvin wants Dustin to be successful. Then we find out 2 of Dustin’s 3 quirks. Loves Sounds and Aggressive.

The house at night looks very pretty all decorated on the outside for Winterfest. I really do like this house, especially with all the changes we have made to it (which I’m going to be making more soon.)

More updates and we find out Corey and Janessa are expecting again too. A new baby will be joining their twins soon. This isn’t a family update, but I found it kind of funny, but also sad that Celeste (one of the new pre-mades from Growing Together) has already died. Then, Dustin maxes out his potty skill! That’s +5 points. Thank you, Dustin!

Ahh well. Points come and points go. Dustin is acting a lot like Alan in his toddler years. So far, points gained, points lost. -5 Points.

Luckily the family is still able to complete many of the traditions of Winterfest because we can do them as a group. Even little Dustin can get in on the fun now that he’s had a nap.

Corey comes by to see his brother, and maybe to let the family know that his wife is once again pregnant. I love that so many cousins are going to be close in age. Maybe we’ll try a toddler playdate.

Awww, Dustin’s last quirk is that he loves to wake up. That’s cute. Then, sadly, pregnancy with Hinata’s school just doesn’t work out and she officially flunks out, or rather is suspended. I’m not sure I’ll have her try again. We’ll have to see because she was doing really well on her own for a long time.

Speaking of Alan, later in the evening of Winterfest he comes haunting. He manages to stop Bailie from her constant drink-making. I think she might get close to maxing out Mixology all on her own.

Hinata has also developed some Squeamishness, what is it with this family? Bailie then decides she likes Silly Behavior thanks to her grandson.

Hinata is getting bigger and bigger, but she still is a great mother to Dustin. He even gets to work on flash cards with his mom. Maybe he’ll max another skill and even out our points.

I really want to try out a baby shower for Hinata, but we haven’t met all of the other members of our extended family, at least close cousins. So we make a quick tour of the extended family. Brodie’s adopted daughter is our first stop to flag her. Then we meet Cedric’s kids and flag his stepdaughter. Then we wrap up our time out by meeting Corey’s twins

We manage to hold a baby shower and it’s a lot of fun. It turns into a family-wide baby shower with each of this current generation’s wives all being pregnant together, at various levels. We take some lovely pictures of the family and have a lot of fun until Hinata goes into labor!

Hinata heads to the hospital with Calvin and heads back to the delivery room where she started treatment with one medical person, who then up and left in the middle of the delivery and Hinata had to wait for someone else. Calvin did come back to the room and soon we have a new little boy, Dwight. This is quite a boy-heavy generation so far. +5 points

After the birth of his newest son Calvin and his mom get the option to be jokesters. I go ahead and say yet cause I think this seems like fun.

When they get home Calvin shows off his new son to his mom. Bailie is super happy to meet her newest grandchild. She is getting to see so many grandkids and it makes her very happy.

That same evening we get family updates where we find out Kaleigh and Cordelia both give birth to their own baby boys, Darin and Dalton respectively. Brodie’s son, David, has also grown into a teen now.

Calvin takes care of Dustin while Hinata rests and takes care of their newest son. He plays with him and then at night reads him to sleep.

Dustin has managed to max out his movement, which gives us another +5 points! Then he gets to level 4 of imagination. We might manage to get 3 skills maxed for Dustin!

Hinata takes a little bit of time for herself on the pool floaty. Thank you for using the floaty and not drowning Hinata. Then she not only takes care of Dwight but also plays with and dances with Dustin.

Calvin remains busy working on his painting since we still need to immortalize him. Dustin also continues to be adorable and I love these poufs.

Dustin wandered outside in a storm and made this face. Baby, why did you go outside? Go back inside and your dad can comfort you and put you to bed. He’s so cute!

OMG, look at this, the parents and baby are all asleep at the same time, in bed! This is a rare and exciting event in any ISBI. Now, not all of the family was asleep, but still, it’s impressive all the same.

It only lasts for so long though and then Hinata is back up taking care of the baby. It’s funny, I try and have Calvin help out and Hinata always autonomously beats him to it and he can’t “reach” the baby.

You might have noticed Hinata is in a pretty shirt before and it’s because we are throwing a birthday party for Dustin. He’s already a child, and while he didn’t quite max out imagination, or any other skills, he did really well. All the family is invited over, and we determine one of the toddlers has the messy eater trait. Julia helps us out that night by helping clean up after the messy eater.

That feels like a good place to end this update, which is starting to feel long, but first I will leave you with some family updated pictures.

We will start with Cordelia’s husband, Tai Lum. Next to him is David Otts, and then we have Cedric’s kids, Mikayka and Danielle. He has the most girls right now. Next up is Brooke’s kids, Chance and Chaya, both of whom are vampires. Finally, we wrap up with Corey’s twins, Darnel and Destiny.

We managed to actually get a small boost in points, which is pretty good with how we started, and I hope you enjoyed the update.
