Otts Family – Eddie 02

Welcome back to the Eddie Otts family ISBI. You might say that now is when the ISBI portion of this challenge really starts since Eddie has now married Julia and we get to see how Julia does as an NTH.

So let’s start out by checking in on how things are going. Eddie is asleep after a…fun night with his new bride, but what is Julia doing???

Oh dear watcher, no why are you trying to cook? You have to leave for class in a few minutes!!!! There is food in the fridge!

I quickly get Eddie up because expectedly Julia leaves the food on the stove and heads off to class. The good news is, she must have turned off the stove before she left because nothing caught on fire and Eddie was able to drag himself out of bed to finish cooking the meal.

I’ll be interested to see how Julia does in school since I’ve don’t know that homework and stuff will be done automatically. After she comes home she tries to make up for cooking.

She then does the very smart thing and takes a nap on the couch instead of just passing out on the floor. Ok Julia, you didn’t actually start a fire before, although I still don’t trust you cooking, but you are not doing too bad for an NTH.

The new couple is wanting to start a family, and so when Julia goes to take a shower one morning, Eddie decides to have some fun with her.

Julia continues to work on impressing me with her ability to take care of things and herself. After she starts throwing up….which we know what that probably means, she takes it upon herself to clean up the toilet, instead of just leaving it.

She also sits down and works on her logic skill. She has more than the 3 required for her first milestone, but I have a feeling she needs to get one while playable to get it to count.

Suddenly, days after Eddie had moved in, and days after the wedding and Julia moving in, the welcome wagon suddenly decides to show up. I was surprised since I expected them much earlier. Eddie was out of the house a lot though in those first days, so maybe that is why.

After the welcome wagon was gone Eddie and Julia shared a meal at their little sitting area in the kitchen. This house will soon get way too small as they start adding kids, but for now, they have very little money and have to make do.

Soon after this, the breaking of things started. It’s a good thing that breaking things doesn’t cost points. First Julia broke the toilet.

I didn’t get a picture of it, but then the sink was broken as well. The bathroom was a flooded mess and made everyone miserable when they went into it.

Once again, though, Julia tries to make it up to me by showing me she isn’t a bad NTH housekeeper and will at least pick up after Eddie.

Knowing that a tip for having kids able to get A’s in school is to have focusing objects around, the next time Eddie was out where there was an easel and became focused, I had him paint a focused painting.

Eddie was actually traveling to the library a lot to use their computers to chat with clients or look at reference photos, or any other various tasks he needed a computer for. They didn’t yet have enough money for one of their own.

Late one night into her pregnancy Eddie and Julia got invited out to a club for a dance party. I said sure, why not. Julia almost immediately went to the bench to nap when they arrived. Eddie enjoyed drinks at the bar.

Later on, they enjoyed dancing together to the music playing from the speakers in the main room. They really are quite the cute couple. You can see how big Julia has gotten though…..hoping for just one baby.

Back at home, knowing a baby was on the way and they needed baby stuff, Eddie was hard at work on work tasks. He managed to get a new level of pay and is flying through his painting skill.

Eddie woke up and made this face suddenly one night:

Which means it’s likely baby time. Julia went to the bathroom and then went to get herself some food, this look, including a lip quiver on her face the whole time.

So we used our free action to send Julia and Eddie to the hospital, where Eddie, of course, begins to freak out again.

Julia, meanwhile, decides to clean out her inventory of spoiled food before checking in at the front desk……she has to be a closet neat sim.

Eddie stood around at the front desk for the entirety of this ordeal and didn’t even move when Julia was back in the room having their first born.

But we now have a new little Otts in the family. It’s a little girl we called Ariana. Now we will get to see how they do as parents. That, however, will come next time. Thanks for reading!
