Otts Family – Eddie 07

Eddie 06 | Rules | Eddie 08

Welcome back to the Otts family! Last time we will with the family Alan grew up into a child, the family moved to a new house, and then Arthur grew up into a toddler. Alan kept trying to suck up to me by doing chores and other things. So let’s head back to the Otts.

Alan is continuing his sucking up by cleaning up one of his sister’ messes.

Our sweet couple, Eddie and Julia, are asleep in bed.

The other two kids are also both asleep. Amazingly enough most of the sims tend to sleep around the same time.

Julia often sits down to play with her kids. I thought she might reach a milestone. She only needs to read 3 books, but so far apparently has only finished one.

Eddie works on teaching Arthur about shapes on his blocks hoping to get his thinking built up enough to get another happy toddler.

Alan then starts to work on his homework. I get it Alan, you want to keep your chances of being the heir. At least I could control you that way.

After finishing his homework Alan then goes and plays with Arthur. Everyone say “awwww.” Happy now Alan?

Ok, maybe he hadn’t finished his homework yet, or on another day Alan did some more homework, or maybe extra credit, I don’t remember now but he’s becoming quite the scholar.

Where has Ariana been this whole time? Well she’s been around and is also quite the little scholar!

For Eddie it’s back to work with Arthur on the Thinking skill. Most of the rest they can get to level 3 without too much effort, but they rarely seem to watch on their own.

Using a mirror we finally got Eddie placed just right so he was able to immortalize himself! +5 points

Julia is also still around and is still a good mom. She has some dinner with her kids in their dining room that finally has enough chairs for everyone.

After school the very next day Ariana add some more points to our coffers by getting an A in school! + 5 points

Arthur is an adorable little toddler and way better than Alan was. He sits quietly and plays with the game tablet getting some movement skill in.

Eddie’s aspiration is within our grasp if we can get him and Julia out on a few more dates and with a few more romantic interactions done, so out on a date they go.

Once they get home something seems to possibly be wrong with the game. Alan is exhausted, hungry, dirty, and needs to use the bathroom, but instead of doing any of those things he stands by his bed until his mom comes in and talks with him.

Even for his sisters birthday, Alan stays in the room standing by his bed. To the point where first his pees himself. -5 points.

Then he passes out…..twice. -10 points.

Now, it’s at this point I’ve had Eddie try and give him food from his inventory, encourage him to take care of his needs and a myrid of other things and he would not move until I had Eddie call him to the living room, where the second pass out picture was taken. Sadly, he then stood there and went no where, so I decided to reset Eddie and see what happened.

Luckily, after a reset, while still in bad shape he was able to get a snack and get some sleep and start feeling much better. Not sure specifically what happened there, but at least everything seems to be better now. During all of that with Alan however, as I mentioned, Ariana grew up!

Upon growing up Ariana got the Materialistic trait, and wants to become a master chef as her aspiration.

To wrap up this round before it gets too crazy long, we had two more birthdays….

First off was little Arthur. He managed to get Happy Toddler, yay +5 points, and right before this he maxed his potty trait, another +5 points. Good job Arthur.

The family then basically turned around and went to the table for the final birthday of this update……Julia is now an adult!

For the first time in forever, the whole family sits down to eat cake and chat. I’m excited to see how Alan and Arthur do, and if we can get Ariana up to an A in high school as well.

And now, before anything bad can happen, let’s leave our Otts family and check out our score after all of that.

I have been playing sims since TS1 and even played a little bit of the PS2 version and the mobile versions over time. Once I discovered challenges for TS2 I never looked back. I love the sims, the families I've been able to make, and play through the years, and connecting with people about them. I work from home as a QTC Admin for my company, have a cat I adore and have a million hobbies I feel like I will never have time to completely explore.
