SimNaNo Update #7

We are back with another update and elimination in the summer bachelor challenge. Last time we let Isabella go, and while it was a little iffy, she was the lowest relationship “type” even with a tiny sliver of a romance bar. Let’s get right into it and see what happens with this elimination.

Day 17: Hang-out

Nelson and Cooper spend some of the evening and the next morning doing quite a bit together. They cook and clean up and do some yoga. If Cooper isn’t the winner of this challenge I will be a bit surprised. At the very least they are best bros.

After Maddison is up she and Nelson play a game of ping pong. This table has gotten a LOT of use in this challenge. They play ping pong more than any of my other sims ever have I think.

Nelson decides to sit alone and roast a marshmallow. What’s quite humorous, and I didn’t get a picture of this, is Maddison came over to do the same thing a few moments later and Nelson got up and walked away.

After being asked for a game of ping pong by Cooper Nelson finds a quiet place to head off and read by himself. He is doing pretty good with this challenge, but I still find it interesting how much time he spends away from the others.

However, he probably just needed a bit of time because then he is back hanging out with the boys at the edge of the pool. This pool has really become a go-to place for these guys.

One more game of ping pong under Nelson’s belt, this time with Maddison, and the day has come to an end. Everyone is spending a fair amount of time with Nelson now, so I’m curious what will happen.

Day 18: Group Outing

The next day finds Nelson starting it by eating a rare steak that he found while hunting as a werewolf. You wouldn’t think this would be great to his human side, but he scarfs it down.

I decide to head to the werewolf hang out for the group outing this time. I was hoping they might do some sparring or something like that, but for a long time, they mostly stood around and chatted.

Maddison went and found Bentley downstairs in the werewolf hang out and they chatted for a bit. It was nice to see him again.

All four of the werewolves head down to play some cards a little later. Cooper was sitting with them for half a second and then got up and walked away. So instead only three of them end up playing.

After their outing, we were back at home and Nelson spends the evening with Maddison. Of course, he also decided to strip down to his birthday suit and read by the embers of the fire.

During the night Nelson is overtaken by fury, as is Cooper and they both run around as werewolves, doing all the werewolf things. Of course, Nelson has no clothes because he was still not wearing any at the time he transformed.

Of course, when he is no longer a werewolf again Nelson spends the rest of the evening naked and in the rain playing on his phone. He doesn’t come back home until the morning when I force him to.

Day 19: Individual Dates

The next day we start individual dates. Our first date is with Cooper. Now my “rule” for myself here is we are going to try and complete all date tasks. If we manage that we can end the date early. Cooper’s is very good and ends early as we easily reach and complete all the goals.

Our second date is with Maddison, and while we don’t manage to complete all of her goals (we couldn’t get them both flirty at the same time) they also have a really great date. I’m quite happy with the results so far.

As a fun interlude, during their date, this townie sat down with these two drinks. I feel like this lady must be having a VERY bad day to need 2 coffees, one of them to go.

The final date for the night is with Alexander, and this date does not go great. With Alexander’s fury growing he doesn’t want to let Nelson flirt with him. He’s angry and it’s late and he wants to go home. They did end up having an ok date, but it wasn’t great, and they don’t complete all their goals.

Day 20: Elimination Day

We start off elimination day with Nelson playing another game of ping pong. If this table did more for relationships this would probably be a very different challenge because they are playing all the time.

Nelson goes through and dutifully embraces each of the final contestants. Alexander is feeling much better than last night and accepts the hug without a problem. So each of the contestants is given their hug before we end up with anyone else in wolf-form again.

Nelson then goes up to do yoga. It’s a little later in the day than he normally does this, but we’ve kept Nelson busy, and he had a very late night last night with Alexander.

A final meal for one of these three contestants and they are all hanging out chatting more with Nelson. No one really wants to go home now, they have all formed a bond with Nelson and want to be chosen.

At 7 PM we take a picture of our final contestants and it is very obvious who is going home. That date was pretty important for Alexander and his fury just made it too hard to build that romance. The surprise might be with Maddison, but there is a bit of a secret there.

While we say goodbye to Alexander, here’s a peek at what popped up last elimination round. Maddison is “chosen” as Nelson’s fated mate, and so their romance grew VERY fast indeed. That’s it for this time around, we have one more round to go, and Cooper and Maddison both have a shot.
