Welcome back to the Otts, and welcome to the start of Alan Otts’ time as the TH for this family. Eddie has moved into NTH status after completing a couple of aspirations and raising his 3 kids.

Upon entering the household almost everyone was asleep, or heading to sleep, but Alan was up and alert, so we decided to take him into town to see if there were any YA ladies that struck his fancy. We first stopped by the night club, and spied this bar tender.

They hit it off really well, and I think she’s quite pretty. Her name is also Audra, which would fit in great for our alphabetcy. However, wanting to make sure we look at our options, Alan heads for the Cafe.

While enjoying his breakfast we see a woman heading over to the food stand, she is a vendor, but also a young adult. Alan heads out to great her.

She’s pretty enough, but I also want some genetic diversity in the family, and she has the same brown hair as Alan already has. Plus, they don’t hit it off nearly as well. So Alan makes another stop and heads to the library. The librarian here is also a young adult female and quite pretty.

She and Alan have a nice conversation, but of the 3, after a short conversation Audra has the highest relationship. They hit it off so well, she has the blond hair to bring into the mix, and is really cute. So we send Alan home.

Alan: Chatting with Audra. She’s pretty cool, I kind of like her.

That is very sweet Alan. I like her too, enjoy your chatting.

(Yes, he was chatting with Audra and kept showing the little hearts, it was adorable!)

Alan then heads up stairs to practice his violin. I realized we could have had him do the guitar, and it might have made more sense for him, but then you see Alan play the violin and I realize it was the right choice.

It’s “Out on the Town” night or whatever they call it the next day, and even though it’s snowing like crazy, the family heads down to the new burger joint that just opened up in town. Alan also invites Audra to come with him, and Ariana gets to join in as well.

The dinner goes really well until this…

-5 points, although, full disclosure, I knew this was likely. Julia was in pretty bad shape. She still will just stand around for hours outside the house before she comes in.

As the family thinks about heading home, Alan goes around the side to say good-bye to Audra. They are too cute! Please be a good pick Audra!

The next day, while Alan is working around the house he gets a phone call from Audra that said she couldn’t get him out of her mind (yes, that is what it actually said) and would he like to go on a date. So back to the burger joint we went….only this time in a blizzard.

The cold and snow wasn’t going to stop these adorable love birds.

The next day is New Years and so Alan hatches a plan, with my help of course. Audra is invited over to celebrate with the family.

She and Arthur have already formed quite the relationship, but she seems to really like Alan.

The countdown to midnight is watched without Audra, who decided to go to bed. She was invited to spend the night so it wasn’t weird.

But then Alan decides it’s time. As the new year begins Alan wants to wait no longer for Audra.

She says yes!!! Then she leaps into his arms. How cute are they? They then celebrate in their own way.

Audra leaves the next morning before I can get Alan to choose to marry her, but luckily Audra invites Alan to come into StrangerVille (why I have no idea….maybe it should have been a hint.) So Alan has the entire family join him for an impromptu wedding.

After the “ceremony” when Audra has moved out of her brother and sister-in-law’s place, she and Alan waste no time to getting a family started.

Our first Baby B is on the way. With that I believe I am going to call this update complete. I will give you more information on Audra next update. I really do like her and hope she does well.

So a small loss of points from Julia’s pass out, but a new little nooboo on the way will bring those points back up. Hopefully we don’t lose a bunch of points next round.
