Otts Family – Bailie 02

Welcome back to our continuation of the ‘B’ generation with the Otts family. Last time our new TH, Bailie, took over the reigns from Alan and started working her lazy butt in the Bodybuilder aspiration. We also went spouse hunting and think we found a match. Alan grew into an elder, finished his aspiration and we miraculously lost zero point. So far this generation is starting out ok, since Alan’s generation at this point was already losing points. So let’s see how it continues on.

Brodie got a job as a babysitter, and this is his work outfit. I think he looks adorable. Have fun at work Brodie. He need charisma for this job, not exactly one he’s likely to master, but we’ll see.

Bailie is busy talking with the vendor girl we met at the festival. Her name is Adalyn and her and Bailie are hitting it off quite nicely. I think she might be a lot of fun to have around.

Audra and Alan are sleeping and there is no picture of them doing that this time, but they were in bed, sleeping…so we aren’t complaining.

Once Brodie gets home he starts working out on the workout machine we bought for Bailie. He’s already fairly trim, but just like Alan did as a teen, he’s gone into a workout phase.

I think Adalyn invited us downtown somewhere, so we went. They had a good chat, a little bit of flirting, but Bailie was still sad from losing whoever the guy was that was apparently so important, and yet no one has him in their relationship panel.

Back at home, Alan and Audra are up to what they do best. Alan plays music, and Audra works on her fashion blog. It’s too bad she needed more than writing because she really did become very diligent with that.

Later that night Alan has a conversation with his mom. It’s not going to be that much longer before Alan and Audra join Eddie and Julia in the afterlife. I will miss them both so much, they might have had the worst generation so far in terms of points, but they are very sweet.

Tragedy strikes the family when Jill’s time comes. Audra is just beside herself, Brodie was the first to notice and got really nervous around death, it was kind of funny. I know it didn’t always seem like it, but Jill was very loved by this family. Everyone goes back to being sad, and right as we were starting to get over what’s his name.

Jill is laid out with Eddie and Julia for now. When Alan and Audra pass we will move Jill to be with them, since she was really their cat. We will miss you Jill, and you are welcome to haunt anytime.

Bailie decides to invited Adalyn over to the house to see if she can cheer up a little bit. Adalyn readily accepts the offer and chats with Bailie as she works on her writing.

Brodie comes home with an A from school. +5 Points.

Way to go Brodie! All that hard work paid off.

Brodie: Didn’t make me heir, but it felt good.

I know you are all sad Bailie got picked, but you are a hard worker and don’t need me to help make you successful!

Things between Bailie and Adalyn heat up and culminate in the two becoming girlfriends. Bailie is so happy to have found Adalyn, but Adalyn has to go, and Bailie needs to go to bed before anything more can happen.

Bailie and Brodie are really close which is kind of funny to me, since Bryce and Bailie were closer in age. These two just seem to connect with each other better.

Everyone heads to bed, although not always their own bed. Audra is in with Bailie while Alan and Brodie are in their own beds. Go figure, crazy sims. You can see Eddie out haunting and doing something on the computer.

Then he heads down and starts a painting for us. It’s so nice to have Eddie painting and helping bring in some additional money. We really want a bigger house, and once Bailie starts publishing books we will get there, but right now she’s not good enough at writing to make any real money yet. She’ll get there.

Britta became a teen. If you don’t remember, Britta is Ariana’s only child with her husband Jaquan Greer. We’ll go take a closer look at her later.

Brodie is back to working on his homework, even though he doesn’t really have to anymore, and chatting with his dad. Apparently the fridge is out of food again because that’s the only time I see all the adults grab popcorn.

Bailie has been working out quite a bit, and almost gotten through 8 hours of working out already. She does usually get the negative moodlet for the fact she wants to be lazy, but she’s usually energized, and this room has a bunch of inspired decor so it tends to hide it more.

Adalyn calls Bailie out for another date, and of course she says yes. We do need to get going, as Alan and Audra already had a baby on the way at this point, but I’m not in a big hurry.

Arthur is here and way in the back you can see Ariana’s husband, Jaquan, is here as well. This is the bar in Strangerville, so I guess that makes sense. A little more flirting it done between the girls…..

…and I decide it’s time to pop the question. Bailie gets down on one knee.

Adalyn says yes! YAY, we have our future Otts spouse. I think she is quite pretty, and right about here is where the date ended, so Bailie goes back home. The wedding will be held soon.

Back at home I watch Bailie carefully as she works on cooking, and she does a great job. Bailie also looks super happy here, she’s excited to start her life with Adalyn.

Apparently she was super energized from it because she autonomously works out. Wow Bailie, apparently getting engaged really got you into gear.

Late that night I see a fight out in the front of the house, once it’s done it was Alan and Caleb. They now despise each other. Well that’s fun, maybe Alan will stop standing out in the cold now.

Bailie reaches her first milestone that night, she has worked out 8 hours, and has workout equipment! +5 Points! Way to go Bailie!!! For a lazy sim you are doing quite well. Brodie is ready to complete his first milestone as soon as he becomes a YA too.

Remember how I hoped Alan would come in after the fight? Nope -5 points. Come on Alan, you do not need to start this again just because you are uncontrollable. Funny story, I actually had a dream last night of Alan passing out left and right and losing us all of our points again. Maybe I play this game too much. 😀

I know this entry might be getting a little long, but we are going to stick with it for just a little bit longer because, as you can’t really tell from the fact Alan is cooking but, it’s WinterFest!

And to start off this festive holiday Audra decides it’s her time to go! NOOOOO……I don’t want a sad holiday!!!!

Bailie begs and pleads for death not to take her on WinterFest, but once again it falls on deaf ears….death has become heartless lately. Everyone is in the bathroom mourning Audra’s passing. At least she can be with Jill now. *sniff*

The tree is drug out and decorated, although it’s a pretty subdued affair. Bailie decides to try and make the holiday a little merrier by inviting over the family, at least those she knows.

Apparently it was a blizzard out there, sorry guys, but Arthur, Ariana, Adalyn, and Bryce all show up. Hopefully this will help make it a little merrier.

It might have started out sad, but having the family together made the holiday a little bit brighter for everyone. Bryce and Brodie were even able to connect some more.

Then Brodie headed for the violin. Of course! You were never interested in it before when Alan needed to mentor someone…..you know what, it’s ok. Alan got the aspiration done.

To make it even a little bit brighter of a holiday Bailie suggests to Adalyn that they get married right then and there. She is all for it.

Then Alan went and did this…yes, Alan wet himself. -5 points. Great job Alan, truly. *sigh*

Back to the wedding. It was a lovely setting right in front of the tree, and while most of the family ended up heading home before it was over, Adalyn and Bailie didn’t mind! Welcome to the family Adalyn Ojo!

A little celebration to commemorate the event, and this will be where I end this update. A lot has happened, and I think we might have broke even on points thanks to Alan, but we’ll see.

Yep we broke even, but we are on our way to having kids which will hopefully build up some points, and some aspiration achievements as well. Let’s take a quick look at some of the people we mentioned in this update though.

Here is Adalyn Ojo after a bit of a make-over. She is going to carry the babies. I debated on this point, but decided to have her do it. Her aspiration is to be a Master Mixologist, which is doable. She has no job currently. She is Self-Absorbed, Family Oriented, and a Genius. I think she will be fun to have around.

This is Britta as a teen, Ariana and Jaquan Green’s daughter and only child. She is an interesting mix of her parents. She wants to be an Athlete.
